Who we are
dyal is made and run by Industria Creativa JoseDEspinal, EIRL — "Industria Creativa", or just "we" below — a company registered in the Dominican Republic. You can reach a person at [email protected].
What this covers
This is the agreement between you and us about using dyal. Creating an account means you accept it. If you don't, please don't use dyal.
Your account
You need an account to keep a schedule. Give us an email address that reaches you, keep your password to yourself, and treat anything done from your account as yours. If you think somebody else got in, write to us and we'll help you shut it down.
One account belongs to one person. You can share a schedule with as many people as you like — that's the point — but each of them signs in as themselves.
The people on your schedules
A schedule is mostly other people's names. That is worth pausing on.
You decide who goes on a schedule, and you're responsible for having a good reason to put them there. dyal asks for a name and a colour because that is genuinely all it needs. Don't use a shift label to record someone's health, their documents, their address, or anything else you'd rather not explain later.
If you're running a schedule for an organisation, you're the one answering to the people on it. We hold that information for you and do what you ask with it.
What you can't do
Don't try to reach schedules that aren't yours. Don't probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't use dyal to harass anyone or to do something illegal where you are. Don't resell or rent access to it.
Your schedules stay yours
Everything you put into dyal remains yours. You give us only the permission we need to actually run it: to store your schedules, back them up, and show them to the people you've shared them with. We don't claim ownership of your content, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train anything.
Share links
Sharing a week creates an unlisted link that anyone holding it can read, with no account needed. Unlisted is not secret: whoever you send it to can forward it. You can revoke a link whenever you like, from the week it belongs to.
What it costs
dyal is free while it is this new. If that ever changes we'll tell you before it touches your account, and you'll have time to export your schedules and go elsewhere if you'd rather.
When it changes or breaks
We keep changing dyal, so features sometimes move or go away. We try hard not to break what you depend on, but we can't promise the service will always be available or always be right. It comes as it is.
Limits on what we owe you
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of dyal — including a shift somebody missed because the service was down. Nothing here removes rights you have under Dominican consumer law that can't be signed away.
Ending it
Delete a schedule whenever you want, from its settings. To close your whole account, write to us and we'll take care of it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks this agreement or puts other people at risk. We'll tell you why, unless the law stops us.
Changes to this agreement
When we change it, the new version appears on this page and the date at the top changes with it. If a change actually matters to you, we'll say so by email. Carrying on with dyal after that means you're happy with it.
Which law applies
The laws of the Dominican Republic govern this agreement, and its courts are where any dispute is settled.
